FIRST LET ME ASK YOU A FEW QUESTIONS

Would you consider yourself to be a good person?

Most would say "I'm a pretty good person" or "I don't do anything to hurt other people”

Do you think you have kept the Ten Commandments?

Let's take a look at a few and see.

Have you ever told a lie?

I think we all would have to answer yes to this one. If I lied to you, what would you call me? A liar! So what does that make us? A liar.

Have you ever stolen anything?

Have you ever taken anything that did not belong to you, regardless of its value. . . anything? Even when you were younger? I have, so what does that make us? A thief.

Have you ever committed adultery?

Jesus said, 'Whoever looks upon a woman to
lust after her has committed adultery with her already in
his heart.' (Matthew 5:28) Have you ever looked at someone with lust? Yeah me too.

Have you ever committed murder?

Bear in mind also that the Bible says, if you have ever hated anyone you are guilty of murder by Gods standards. Have you ever murdered anyone?

Have you ever taken the Lord's name in vain?

Have you ever casually used God's name to express
anger? That is called 'blasphemy; and God promises that He will not hold anyone blameless who takes His name in vain.
