David Warner was born in 1961 in
Anaheim,
CA
, spent his formative years
in his father's gun shop, "Anaheim Gun Room". David served in the US Air Force as an
electronic warfare specialist during the early 80s. After which earning a degree in Computer
Technology as well as a degree in Electronic Technology.
David is a licensed gun dealer and has specialized in internet firearm
auction since 1998 when he opened "Oregon Guns" and began working with one of the first online firearms
auctions sites. Since then the concept has taken off and has auctioned thousands of firearms from the everyday guns to the rare antique, military and specialty
guns from all around the country.
David and his family attend Good Shepherd Christian Church in
Boring,
Oregon
.
And yes there really is a town in
Oregon
named "Boring". There David was part of the Church media team and enjoyed mixing the sound
at Front of House for the services.
David has been married
to his lovely wife Beth for many years
and they have raised four boys ranging in age from 29 to 37 years of age and there beautiful
little girl just 17 years old. His Wife, Brother also help out in the
day-to-day operations at Oregon Guns. In his off time he enjoys Bible Prophecy, electronic gadgets, computers, music, Cooking, target shooting, class 3 guns, big guns, bigger guns and just hanging out with the family.
David's dad flew hurricanes for the RAF before the US entered WWII. Then when the US entered the war he was a fighter pilot flying P38 lightning’s. For his war efforts he received the Silver Star by rescuing a downed fellow pilot under heavy fire, Distinguished Flying Cross with two clusters, and the Air Medal with nine clusters among many other medals. He also flew the Bell X2 rocket ship. He always said that he might well have been the one to fly the X1 to break the sound barrier if he had not been of Russian descent which would not have been good press back during the cold war. Later he was involved in high altitude testing, and worked for Philico-Ford on moon landing gear test. He later built and tested Modified Unlimited Hydro planes including Slo-mo-shun IV, Hurricane IV, Hawaii Kai III, Shanty I, and Maverick, he was one of the sport's premier Allison engine builders of the 1950s. He was also initiated into the Unlimited Hydro plane "100 Mile Per Hour Club" in 1954 that was conducted by the Gulf Oil Corporation 1949-1968.
In 2004 David's son Tim (the one with the cool
gun in the center), joined the Marines, where he is an MP
attached to HMX1 and Marine One, an elite group of MPs that act as personal guard
for the President of the
United
States which he is standing next to below.
In 2011 two more of David's sons, Rob and Keith joined the Air Force. Rob, on the left, will be in security forces and stationed at Travis Air Force Base California. Keith, on the right, electronic warfare (same as David was).
